Meet Michael
Early Days
Born in London, England, Michael was "in it to win it" from the very beginning. When he was younger, he dreamed of success, had a passion for music and an eye for talent. While studying music, Michael worked as a dishwasher for the British Army to pay the bills while dreaming of making it big in the entertainment industry.
An Accomplished Music Career
By the time Michael turned 19, he had his first big break, becoming a resident producer at Hansa Ton Studios in Berlin. He began producing singles and LPs for various exciting musical singers and acts in Europe. Through the 1980’s and 1990’s, he gained extensive experience working as a composer, producer, and session recording drummer in both the U.K. and the U.S.
From 1991 to 1994, Michael worked with New York based Atico Records as their head of A&R. He then founded three production companies between 1994 and 1998, one of which was Platinum Productions. He went on to co-found 2KSounds in 1999 which was one of the very first companies to launch and promote music on the internet. Virgin Records then partnered with 2KSounds and Michael was appointed President of the Record Division. Michael has worked with a diverse variety of music icons like Brian McKnight, Coolio, Luther Vandross, Mary J. Blige, 2Pac, Nine Inch Nails, Willie Nelson, Engelbert Humperdinck and Glen Campbell amongst many other major industry titans for promotion and/or production.
He has produced music not only for well-known artists, but also for feature films, including Disney’s 2002 animated film, Cinderella II Dreams Come True.
In addition to his entertainment company Electra Star Management, Michael, in partnership with Ron White, formed the OMG VIP, a company that provides exciting fan experiences where they can meet and interact with their favorite artists. Clients began with Ron White and now include a diverse group of artists including (but not limited to): Henry Rollins, Trevor Noah, Luis Fonsi, Martin Lawrence, LeAnn Rimes, Nick Cannon, Tiffany Haddish and many more.
The YouTube Era
Always on the lookout for the next big thing, Michael’s career evolved to include and incorporate social media as his next adventure.
Michael met Adam Swords at a car event (of course), and the two became fast friends. They collaborated to create videos highlighting Michael's everyday life in Beverly Hills. Whether it is cruising in one of his luxury cars, touring a mega-mansion, or exploring his extensive watch collection - Michael quickly became a YouTube sensation - beloved for his eclectic style and larger-than-life personality.
Each week Michael uploads videos to an audience of millions of social media followers who enjoy experiencing his lifestyle, seeking his expertise on all things luxury, and just sharing in on the fun.
