William Wood was the name of our Founder's late grandfather. He was a firefighter in the British Fire Service for 25 years stationed in Newcastle on The Blue Watch. His grandson Jonny Garrett created William Wood Watches to honour him and the legacy of firefighters around the world.

MOVEMENT

Our Swiss-Made Ronda 762 Quartz Movement has a battery life of up to 10 years. It is built by Ronda Group in their facility in Switzerland with stellar accuracy and reliability. The movement is designed to be a rugged workhorse and fits comfortably inside our Chivalrous watch case.
