The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal and is powered by the Caliber 3255 Perpetual movement complete by a power reserve of 70 hours.  The Day-Date also utilizes a process that involves screwing the case back, bezel, and Twinlock screw-down crown into the Monobloc middle case for waterproofness up to 100 meters. The symbolic 18k rose gold presidential bracelet includes semi-circular three-piece links and concealed Crownclasp, being  the most sought-out timepiece to date.
